Axles

Rear axles are based on a 25mm kart axle made from EN8 steel and come with standard kart keyways but we can supply them machined to suit mower racing. We can also supply other sizes such as 30mm to order.

Front stub axles (stubbies) are supplied as a complete assembly ready to be welded to your own beam axle. They are built with either a 17mm or a 20mm high tensile axle mounted in machined king pins which are 40mm diameter. I recommend using the 20mm ones for Group 4 racing. The king pin bearings are 16mm rod end bearings and these are mounted on a 10mm thick back plate. Full mounting instructions are given with each set ensuring that the correct steering geometry is achieved. Note that the steering control arms are not part of these assemblies.
